Vectra 3D Imaging for Breast Plastic Surgery

Vectra 3D Imaging for Breast Surgery to help you choose the best implant size for your physique

Our Melbourne Plastic Surgeons can offer you Vectra 3D Breast Imaging to help you visualise your new breast size before your Breast Enlargement Surgery

Do you know that Vectra 3D Imaging is available in our Hawthorn East Plastic Surgery consulting rooms?

Vectra 3D (three-dimensional) imaging can be helpful for breast surgery. There is also a Face Vectra 3D Technology for facial surgeries such as Facelifts and Rhinoplasty (nose refinement surgery).

Whilst imaging may only be a general guideline and results can vary significantly, it can help you to better visualise what potential outcomes you might attain through your breast surgery.

If you’re not sure what shape, size or profile will best suit your Breast, Vectra 3D imaging can help.

Pre-Operation Planning & Surgery Consultations

One of the most important choices you will make about your breast augmentation is about what size implants will best suit your body.

The size you choose should also take into account your overall physique, existing breast tissue, type of breasts and nipple positions, and your visual ideals and personal fashion preferences.

  • Three-dimensional imaging such as through Vectra 3D technology by Canfield, can really help you visualise the possible changes in size.
  • There are many ways to help you choose your preferred breast dimensions before your surgery.

To have a natural looking result, you Surgeon will suggest a range of options, but ultimately, it’s up to you and is YOUR choice.

There are other sizing options, and not all Surgeons use Vectra 3D – so just ask a Patient Care Coordinator which of our Surgeons uses Vectra 3D Imaging as part of their pre-op planning discussions. Simply send an enquiry form, below – or phone us during Clinic hours on (03) 8849 1444.

What exactly is Vectra 3D Imaging for Breast Surgery such as implants or reductions?

Canfield Vectra 3D Imaging system is a specialised high-tech photography and imaging system. It is used in medical settings primarily for breast, nose and facial surgery.

Having three-dimensional imaging with Vectra 3D can help breast augmentation, reduction and breast lift (mastopexy) patients to better envisage the results they may get from their surgery.

The Vectra SIMULATES an outcome for the patient based on a real image of their body, breast, face or nose.  Simulation is NOT prediction but more a tool to aid you in choosing an implant size or to visualise your body or face or nose AFTER you have had your surgery.

The special imaging and photography system then reproduces a GRAPHIC 3-d image of what you might like look with your desired size of implants (or if a Rhinoplasty, what you might look like after nose reshaping surgery).

Vectra 3D imaging for Breast Enlargement Surgery

  • The system uses multiple camera angles & a library of different implant shapes and sizes
  • The Vectra system gives patients a computer-generated vision of what they will look like post-surgery.
  • This also allows the image that the surgeon has in mind to be conveyed to the patient in a visual form.
  • The Vectra is not exactly accurate and your results can vary; but having a visual aid helps add some predictability to the process.
  • It can be a better option for some patients than sizers or purely verbal explanation.

Vectra 3D imaging for Rhinoplasty Surgery

  • The system uses multiple camera angles & a library of different manipulation settings that help show changed shapes and sizes of the components of the nose
  • The Vectra system gives patients a computer-generated vision of what they will look like post-surgery.
  • This also allows the image that the surgeon has in mind to be conveyed to the patient in a visual form.
  • The Vectra is not exactly accurate, but it helps add some predictability to the process. It can be a better option for some patients than sizers or purely verbal explanation.
